Announcing the 2002 Canadian National Underwater Hockey Championships

After much delayed confirmation, here are the details-

Reasons to Go: Great pool with a fast, flat bottom. Fantastic banquet &
prizes (No Death Metal entertainment this time, sorry guys). The most
nutritious poolside buffet anywhere. On deck massage therapists.

Venue: University of Guelph Athletics Centre, Guelph, Ontario.

Dates: Fri May 10th PM, Sat May 11th, Sun May 12th, 2002.

Divisions: Open A, Open B, Women, Junior(u19)

Registration: Fees are $1100.00/team & $800.00/junior team. Fees are based
on 10 players per team. If you plan on bringing 11 or 12, let us know & we
can make arrangements. Registration is due by April 15th, 2002. All fees not
recieved by 04/15 are subject to a 25% increase, NO EXCEPTIONS. Fees cover
pool time, t- shirt, banquet & poolside food. All players must be members of
their respective National organisation (CUGA, USOA, etc.) Cheques are
payable in Canadian funds to-

Restrictions: A limit of 6 teams per division is being set . More may be
allowed, provided there is pool time available. Teams must be comprised
ENTIRELY of Canadian Residents in order to qualify for medals. Exhibition
teams from abroad will be allowed in limited numbers.
