Everyone,

The Beltway Bottom Feeders of Washington, DC are proud to announce their
annual Independence Day tournament.  This year the tournament will be held
on the weekend of July 6-7th.  Visitors are encouraged to come early and
celebrate Independence Day at our Nation's Capital.

For those who attended last year, you can look forward to an even better
tournament.  This year we will be hosting the tournament at a new world
class facility (they are using the site as part of DC's bid to hold the 2012
summer Olympics).  The pool is uniformly 8 feet deep and has a fast tile
bottom.  In addition, the format will be a 6-on-6 teams tourney.  We will
try to match up orphans to create makeshift teams for people that aren't on
a team.

The cost of the tournament and pool hours are not set yet.  We have an idea
(~$35) but before we finalize everything we want to get an idea of what the
turnout will be like so that we can adjust the amount of pool time if
necessary.  So decide early if you can come and let us know if you have any
constructive input.  Travel arrangements should be easy as there are three
area airports to choose from if you wish to fly.  As always, there will be
plenty of sleeping space provided by the hosting team.

Yes we know that the tournament is the weekend before World's.  But if you
aren't going to play or have the extra time, it doesn't really matter does
it?

If you think you might come, please let us know ASAP as we should be
finalizing pool times and costs in the next week or so.
