"The Sixteeth Anniversary Frantic Frog Triathlon", is a sanctioned fundraiser for the
Jackson County Chapter of the American Red Cross. All Monies received from
this event will be kept in Jackson County to proved assistance to anyone who may
be in need of the services provided by the American Red Cross.
The Jackson County Chapter of the American Red
Cross is a non-profit humanitarian organization led by volunteers to provide
relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond
to emergencies. The Red Cross also provides emergency communication and
financial aid to families of the Armed Forces. The Red Cross is mandated
by a congressional charter to provide these services to our people around the
clock. We train our community in First Aid and CPR, and water safety.
Blood services collects, types, and processes the blood collected in Jackson
County and then distributes it to the hospitals.
This Chapter receives no federal or state
funding. We are totally funded by the Jackson County United Fund (UGF),
individual donations, and fundraisers. We have only one paid staff member.
The Chapter is governed by a board of 22 volunteers which represent all of
Jackson County
Thank you for your support.
