Grand Tour of Peru

Day01→Lima

Upon arrival reception and transfer to your Hotel (we have many choices). Morning free.

14:00 Hrs. City tour and Gold museum (this tour takes approx 5 hours)

Day 02→Lima / Cuzco

Breakfast. Early transfer to the airport to take a flight to Cuzco. There are only morning flights and it takes 1 hour to arrive from Lima to Cuzco.

Upon arrival reception and transfer to hotel selected (we may offer 5, 4 and 3 stars hotels, depdending on your budget) Morning free to get acclimatized with the altitude.

14:00 Hrs. Guided sightseeing tour of Cuzco and nearby ruins. This visit includes: Main Square, Koricancha Palace, nearby ruins of Puka Pukara, Kenko, Tambomachay and the famous fortress of Sacsayhuaman. (this tour last approximately 3 hours). Return to Cuzco and accomodation at your Hotel

Day 03→Cuzco - Pisaq & Ollantaytambo

Breakfast
Early in the morning departure to Pisaq, this little village has the most attractive and colorful handicraft market in the Cuzco area. On Sunday a mass in Quechua is held with the assistance of the Majors from the nearby villages. Lunch at a typical restaurant.

In the afternoon a guided tour of the famous fortress of Ollantaytambo. Return to

Cuzco and accomodation at your Hotel

Day 04→Cuzco - Machu Pichu

Breakfast
Early in the morning departure from the Hotel to the railroad station, the excursion by Urubamba river, on arrival a guided excursion through the magnificent ruins and luncheon at Macchu Picchu.

Accomodation at Hotel close to the Ruins or in Aguas Calientes

Day 05→Machu Picchu – Cuzco

Morning free

In the afternoon return to Cuzco and transfer to your Hotel (it takes approx 3 and half hours the journey from Cuzco to Machu Picchu)

Day 06→Cuzco – Puno

Breakfast
Early transfer to the station to take the train to Puno ( it takes approximately 10 hours), Inka service, lunch on board Upon arrival reception and transfer to your Hotel

Day 07→Puno

Breakfast
A.M. Half day by launch to the Uros Indian floating Reed Island

P.M. Half day excursion to the pre-Inka ¨chullpas¨ of Sillustani, 28 Kms north of Puno, on the shores of Umayo lake.

Day 08→Puno - Juliaca / Arequipa

Breakfast
Early transfer to the airport to take the flight to Arequipa.

Upon arrival reception and transfer to your Hotel

In the afternoon a brief city tour including Yanahuara district, the Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral, the ¨ Iglesia de la Compañía¨and finally the Santa Catalina Convent will be visited

Day 09→Arequipa – Colca

Breakfast
Early departure to Colca valley. Excursions, full board, Overnight at the Hotel. It takes approx 5 hours to reach to Colca Canyon.

Day 10→Colca – Arequipa

Breakfast.
Early departure to Colca, excursions, full board.

At the appropriate time return to Arequipa and accomodation to your Hotel.

Day 11→Arequipa / Lima - Ica – Paracas

Breakfast
Early transfer to the airport to take a flight to Lima. Upon arrival reception and transfer by private car to Ica.

Arrival to Ica and overflight Nazca Markings

Then city tour and Huacachina, if time permits will visit the Regional Museum of Ica.
Continue to Paracas and accomodation at the Hotel.

Day 12→Paracas – Lima

Breakfast
08:00 Hrs. Yacht cruise to Ballestas Islands inhabited by bobies, pelicans, sea lions and Humbold penguins, you will see the ¨Candelabro¨ on the way to the Islands.

Then visit to the nearby beaches.

In the afternoon return to Lima and transfer to your Hotel

Day 13→Lima / Trujillo

Morning free

Transfer to the airport to take a flight to Trujillo.

Upon arrival reception and transfer to your Hotel

Then will have a brief city tour and Cassinelli museum

Day 14→Trujillo – Chiclayo

Breakfast

A.M. Vist to the ruins of Chan Chan and continue to Huanchaco. Afternoon free.

Approx. 16:00 Hrs. By bus to Chiclayo.

Upon arrival reception and transfer to your Hotel

Day 15→Chiclayo / Lima

Breakfast
A.M. Visit Sipan and Huaca Rajada

Lunch at a typical restaurant

P.M. Visit Tucume Pyramids and Brunning Museum. Then transfer to the airport to take a flight to Lima.

Upon arrival reception and transfer to your Hotel

Day 16→Lima / Iquitos

Breakfast
Transfer to the airport to take a flight to Iquitos.

Upon arrival reception and transfer to the Lodge. Jungle excursions, full board.

Day 17→Iquitos / Lima

Breakfast
Jungle excursions. At the appropriate time transfer to the airport to take the flight back to Lima.

Upon arrival reception and transfer to your Hotel
