Arriving in Puno at approximately 4:00 p.m.
Staying overnight in Puno at Libertador Hotel*** (ex – Isla Esteves), located at shore´s Titikaka Lake
a.m. Boat to Uros Islands in Lake Tititcaca
Then transfer to the airport to take the flight to Lima.
On the way visit Sillustani Tombs, pre-Inka tombs located at 28 kms. Off Puno and on the Lake Umayo.
Upon arrival to Lima, transfer to Hotel Sheraton*****
Dinner at Sheraton Hotel with an Folk Show especially prepared for the Group.
DAY 08→LIMA/...
a.m. City tour comprising the Old Colonial and Modern areas of Lima.
Starting with the Main Square, Cathedral, Government Palace, The Inquisition Tribunal, Torre Tagle Palace, and the Church and Convent of San Francisco.
Will follow to the residential areas of San Isidro and Miraflores reaching the Armendaríz Cliffs to view the Pacific Ocean.
Followed by a visit to the Gold Museum, privately owned by Miguel Mujica Gallo. This collection has more than 8,000 pieces of pre-Inka civilizations like Chavin, Mochica, Chimu and Nazca. There is also one of the largest arms and weapons collection.
At the appropriate time transfer to the airport to take a flight back.
