Eighteen Hundred ain't alot of people
One high school
Five towns together
On the bus every morning
A half hour ride
Sitting, writing
All my songs start there
And are all the same

As the teacher taught math"
Never something new to say
Always the same story
Day to Day

Get home late
Supper's on the table
Nothin much to do
But hang around a while
Go swimming in my backyard
Walk around the townsite
Say good-night to my friends
After another pleasant night
Go back home
Lie on teh grass
With the sun a'setting
And the stars coming out
I look up
Always another song I want to shout:

Hockey's almost over
