Kaleidoscope Artist: Christie Moody

Christie Moody is a talented artist who works mainly in stained and etched glass. Her kaleidoscopes are sold under the name Blue Heron Art Glass.

Mandalette: This scope dates from 1990, and features five interchangeable fused glass object cells. The kaleidoscope is actually a hexagonal brass tube.

Humming Worlds: This item dates from 1994 and is number 5 of 100. The image mimics the view a hummingbird would have looking inside a flower. As the objects in the cell settle quickly, my photos tend to show the background image.
