Master Kaleidoscope Artists: Tom & Carol Paretti |
| Tom & Carol Paretti: They also are known as Workingwood. These folks have been producing nice kaleidoscopes from the start of the modern kaleidoscope era. They are master woodworkers. They produce fine hand held items, but their limited edition items are the real treasures. They are a bit shy, but they really are nice folks once you get to know them. They are slow in production, and some promised editions have never been made. I am still waiting for a bubblessence. If anyone has one, let me know. |
| Spinner: This is dated 1991. As in most Paretti scopes, the third side between the mirrors is grooved to produce a unique edge to the mandala. The wood on this scope has a rich feel. |

Crystal Chameleon: This one is from 1993. Heat sensitive material
used on scope body and object cell. Feather and Leather: This one is from 1994. A perfume atomizer bulb blows colored feathers in the object cell. Starfield: This one is from 1997. Object cell items "float" in fluidized beads. In the last photo here you can see the grooves around the mandala. |
| Three-Mirror: This one is dated 1983. |
| Whimsy: Great wood sculpture with 8 interchangeable object cells. This one is #4 of 25 and is dated 1990. Try to match the interior shot with the object cell shots. |
