Came to this state in 1855, settled in Washington County, remained there until 1865; thence to this county. Owns 145 acres of land. Had two children, Nels, who died Jan. 22, 1868; left a little girl, Hannah A., who resides with her grandparents and John B. who died October 11, 1867.
