Possible reasons for cylinder misfire on one cylinder:

• Injector internally damaged.
• Injector nozzle spray holes damaged or fouled.
• Pumping element out of calibration.
• Pumping element out of phase.
• FIP cam shaft worn or other internal components.
• High pressure injection line not sealing or damaged.
• Engine valves not seating resulting in burned valve faces
• Head gasket not sealing.
• Badly worn piston rings.
• Piston damaged/burned/holed.
• Bent piston connecting rod.
• Bent or dislodged valve push rod.
