Magalloway Mountain

 Magalloway Mountain boasts a commanding view of Pittsburg and the surrounding areas of Maine, Quebec, Vermont and northern New Hampshire You can drive a few miles from route 3 to the trail head and walk around a mile up a steep rocky trail to the Magalloway Lookout tower. The view is incredible.

    The course has some severe elevations and plays like a true mountain course.  It is a par 72, 6703 yds. Front at 3311 and the Back at 3392 yds. It has a complete library included with custom textures, 2d objects, and a special panorama. (See credits below to the authors). I set the course up to play fair but "beware" of the fairway bunkers, although they use the same sand texture as the green side bunkers, they play tougher. You will not be able to just hit out on your caddies advisement. You will need to select the correct club and stance on your own to get back in play. The green side bunkers have less severe sand properties. The greens are subtle with some slopes that will cause problems if you are parallel with or above the hole. The more experienced cyber golfer may want to set the green conditions to "very dry". Pin placements, at any setting, should offer a fair challenge. The tall grass areas located in dark brown dirt are set up as "unplayable hazards". Although they are not abundant, they will cost you a stroke if you hit into them. I think Magalloway Mountain will provide you with many rounds of enjoyable cyber golf. I hope you have as much pleasure playing the course as I had creating it.
