How Do They Work?

    One of my favorite hobbies are Radio Controlled Cars.  They come in either electric or gas powered.  The ones I will be talking about are ELECTRIC 10th scale vehicles.

    WHY ELECTRIC?  Well electric vehicles are easier to manage than gas-powered vehicles.  Most electrics only require a charged battery to get going while gas-powered vehicles need constant tuning depending on the weather.

    Gas-powered vehicles take fuel called Nitro-methyl-alcohol.  Not your everyday gasoline.  Electrics have two types of batteries, NiCad (Nickel Cadmium) and NiMh (Nickel Metal Hydride).

    Now a days, electrics can keep up with most gas powered vehicles topping out at 50mph+!
