you Believe in Miracles? July

"Jury-san wa hen daiyo!" (Shiori quote from
the Utena movie.) Jury is one of my
favorite characters. I have a little figurine of her sitting on top of
my monitor next to Utena and Wakaba. (Them being two of my other most
favorite characters.) Poor Jury, tho.. Shiori is so mean to her.

A Lovers Kiss
Please note that the lovers in this pic are Utena and Anthy. They
aren't kissing or anything, but don't look at it if you think you might be offended by the
thought of two girls about to kiss. The border looks like a drafting title block. Agggh!

One Year Anniversary
gift to K-chan
I drew this in honor of K-chan's "Da Art Gallery's" 1st
Birthday. Yep, her site is a year old.. started on March 13th, 1998. I really like how
Utena turned out, and aren't Anthy's gloves neat? Color, pen. |

I tried experimenting with photo backgrounds in this one. I think it
turned out very well, especially considering that the drawing itself was less than an inch

A Rose For You
I'm very pleased with it--the proportions are almost totally correct, and
the shading is good too. Something's wrong with that right arm tho. Isn't the dress cute?
I always wanted a chinese dress.. but whenever I find them, they're way too expensive. -_-

SD Anthy
This is part of a painting I did for my history class (yep, american
history.. the assignment was to depict recreation in the 1900's. hehe), in which Utena is
playing basketball and a group of girls (including Anthy) is cheering her on. This was
done with my new watercolors, and I didn't figure out how to make a flesh color until
*after* I had totally screwed Utena up. Bah! Watercolor, pen. |

Erm, "čternal harmonie" is french for.. eternal harmony. ^_^ No
hidden meaning behind the title, I was just trying to come up with something french and
