Sergio started off his senior year with a 40 second pin. After Hanford closed the Bears lead to 6, 27-21, the Bears recorded a major decision and three pins to pull away for the win. The Bears won 7 of the 5 matches wrestled. Mickey Salinas and Jose Gonzalez showed some fight while losing high scoring matches, 12-11 for Salinas and 14-10 for Gonzalez. Freshman Tony Chapin, filling in for injured Ramon DelAngel, started off his highschool career with a pin. The Bears have their first CWAC test against Connell on Thursday.
