State can wait, Cascade comes first

The girls basketball team could accomplish something this year that no basketball team, boys or girls, has ever accomplished at Ki-Be. The girls could become the first ever district champions for Ki-Be with a victory over Cascade on saturday. McKenzie Burgess is having an outstanding freshman year. She is a scoring and rebounding machine for the Bears. If she isn't scoring, then Nicole Rose is. Rose is the 3rd leading scorer in Ki-Be Girls history with 720. She is also the third leading scorer in average at 11.2. Jamie Vance is the school leader in three pointers and is capable of picking up any scoring lapses by Burgess and Rose. Amanda Marlin, Lindsey Thompson, Kristin Stowe, Stephanie Youngs and Michelle Crawford have worked together with Burgess, Rose and Vance to make this Ki-Be girls basketball team possibly the best ever. WE BELIEVE!!!
