His name is King Shark, born and raised in Kingston 13, Jamaica. As a young man in Jamaica he started learning about recording while working at Tuff Gong, Bob Marley's recording studio. He began his career as a singer/songwriter in 1986 in New York City. Upon returning to Jamaica he worked as a record producer at local studios like Channel One and Dynamix. He has performed in numberous stage shows such as, Reggae Fest World Party in Phoenix Arizona. King Shark is the owner and president of Montego Records, presently releasing his new CD, King Shark and All-Star Friends. He is joined on his new CD by many illustrious stars of Reggae music including, Earl "Chinna" Smith on guitar, Santa Davis, Robby Lynn, Sly Dunbar on drums, Chris Murdock on bass, and Charlie Chaplin. Clive Hunts does the overdubbing. Artist King Shark not only performs three of the songs on the CD, he also produced and arranged the CD. This CD was recorded in Tuff Gong Studios, Dynamix, and Channel One in Jamaica.
This CD has a variety of music on it, such as: lovers rock, culture, roots, and dancehall.
