Group Picture
This is a picture of Alonzo and Loretta Poe Chasteen's living children (two
died in childhood).  There is no date, but it is probably about 1950, taken
on the steps of the Pleasant Valley Methodist Church.  We went to the June
Reunion often in those days.

Left to Right -- Alonzo, Vernus, and Loretta Chasteen.  Written on the back
is 1936, but I think it is more likely to have been about 1940 or so.
Loretta died in 1944,  Alonzo in 1951.

Nelson  C. and Oma Edens Chasteen, This picture was taken in late
April, 1934, at 4251 E. 60th St. Terrace, Kansas City, MO.  I was in the picture, too,
because Mom was already pregnant with me at the time.  I was born 12-18-34.
The folks had the picture blown up and put into a frame to give to Grandma
Edens for a Mother's Day gift on 5-11-34.  That information is written on
the back of the picture frame in my mother's handwriting.

taken in 1935.  My father was three at the time and Bob was approx 4-5 (he
is 18 mo older than my father).

Stephen and Angeline Brookman are my GG Grandparents.  Jehu Stout Price and Anna Woods are the parents of Angeline.
Brookman is the surname of my Grandmother Street's maternal Grandmother.  Price is her grandmother's surname.

Hartley J. Cook Family Photos
Cook was my Grandma Street's maiden name.  Her father was Thomas Edward Cook.  Thomas "ED" Cook married Neda Anna Brookman.  Ed's father was Hartley Jehoida Cook.  Hartley married Sarah Williams. Hartley's mother was Martha Jane Lingo, but we do not know the name of his father.  This link will take you to another webpage with links  to pictures of Hartley and Hartley and Sarah's children.  I do not have a picture of Sarah Williams Cook.
