I've heard so much about Venus - but I don't know where or when to find it on the sky! I don't know how to get information on something that I can't see! I mean, otherwise, I'd just select it like we did in the last section...
No problem! It's easy to
get informed about planetary risings and settings, and a lot of other things,
too. Say we want to find Venus:
1: Go to the Services menu
2: Select 'Information About...'
3: Select 'Venus' or any other Solar System object you're curious about. You can even get Rising/Setting information for the Sun!
You'll get a box identical to the box on Sirius that we looked at in the last tutorial section. Again, click on the image for more academic information about any section of this information box.
