· Stock Market Simulator in Java
Designed and implemented a virtual stock market simulator in JAVA as a group project. It provides real time stock price, personal portfolio to keep track of the set of stocks owned by the user. Implemented a network-oriented prototype simulating the stock market with a random generator and the network transport layer. Applied Rum Baugh’s OOP Methodology for representing Object, Functional and Dynamic models.
· Network Performance – A network performance benchmark in C++
Designed, implemented and analyzed a Network benchmark for measuring Latency and Throughput for TCP/IP and UDP protocols using C++.
· Data Structures
Implemented several data structures in C++ such as Linked lists, Stacks, Queues, Binary Trees, Graphs and sorting algorithms - merge sort, heap sort and quick sort.
· XML/XSL – Project displaying the power of XML/XSL
A library database is built by using HTML forms, Java Servlets and JDBC. The data from library database is extracted using Java Servlets and a XML database is dynamically generated with that data. XSLT is applied on the generated XML file using Java script and MSXML DOM. Functions like Conditional outputting, sorting, searching, highlighting are implemented using various XSLT files. The results are output to HTML files for user display and to XML for reusability.
· Library Database – SQL/PERL
Designed and implemented a database system program to send SQL statements to a DBMS via Perl language using HTML and CGI. MYSQL is used as the database server.
·
High Level Architecture – B2B E-Commerce Application
Group project on application of High Level Architecture to develop a worldwide, networked, multi-player domain based game solution (included Competitive analysis, Market Strategy, Technology research, Budget preparation and Scheduling using MS Project).
· Object Store database
Designed and
implemented a database application that maintained a database of an enterprise
using object oriented database Object Store.
· Disc Scheduling algorithms
Implemented First come first serve, Scan, Shortest seek time first – disc scheduling algorithms in C++.
