RAPP Rsd A Patient's Perspective: My site is about how RSD has affected me. I hope to help others with info about what it is and what it does to us. I think education is the best weapon.
The following is the Amber alert ticker. I am adding it here to help as much as I can.

Home My Mission (or as close to a Mission as Possible)In November of 1994 I had an accident that changed my life, and four months later I was diagnosed with RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy also known as CRPS (Chronic Regionalized Pain Syndrome), a chronic pain condition that is relentless and devastating. My rsd is under control and because of it I am now working on woodcarving. The docs told me to use my hand as much as possible to prevent the muscles from drawing and the rsd from worsening. Through woodcarving I have found the joy of finding various horses in the wood I carve. I am so glad to have discovered woodcarving. I am making a page to show my work and will eventually sell some of my horses. A journey began in 1995 is now going strong, and best of all, I cannot wait to see what happens next! My whole story is located by clicking on My RSD Story link. (If you are going to read my RSD story, be warned, it is graphic.)Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy: A Patient's Perspective is a web page for the patients and families dealing with the onslaught of rsd. The view of patients is as important as the view of health care professionals. While I do not wish to alienate healthcare professionals, this page would be primarily a place for people dealing with rsd , their family and friends. I developed rsd in March of 1995 and the journey has been ongoing. Drop me a email and let me know how you liked or disliked my site. Any and all suggestions are welcome and needed. Please come in, stay a while and read about rsd a patient's perspective. Welcome to all I have met in the RSD chat room. If you have a question or need help finding RSD resources contact me at:kathleenw58@gmail.com and we'll share the ordeal and triumphs rsd has given to us.
