Is Haruka a Les? |
| Foreword: When Haruka seems to flirt with another girl in Michiru's presence, Michiru seems to be jealous but she in general is actually annoyed with Haruka with her playfulness about her tease of flirting with young girls. This includes Usagi and the others. And at a time when Usagi cries because Mamoru forgets her birthday, Haruka consoles her of if she got the chance of dumping Mamoru, she will start chasing her. Of course Usagi looked nervous and wasn't so sure. Haruka may not kiss other gals in the anime, only "flirting" with them. But she does in the manga! In both series, Haruka takes Michiru seriously as a partner and a close friend but in the manga, things changes. Haruka seems to treat Michiru more off then a close friend, she treats her as a girlfriend and would never let guys touch her. Not even Seiya. Speaking of Seiya, Haruka doesn't like him at all especially when he was with Michiru. Its not that she is over protective over Michiru, she is always suspious of strangers and doesn't want Michiru to get hurt in anyway. I didn't see any of lesbianism inside the anime but in the manga I do. Haruka liked to dressed up as a guy , that's obvious in both series, in school uniform and home clothes. In the manga, she started to flirt around with Usagi and even hold her chin and kissed her. Even in the form of the mysterious Sailor Uranus, Usagi can't see Haruka's face properly due to the darkness. In the manga, its strange that sometimes, Haruka's chest sometimes appeared to be flat as a confusion to readers. There are two different ways of Haruka can be in the anime and the manga. In the anime, Haruka appears to be teasing girls with her good looks when she dressed like a guy, in fact, she looks like one. Now we know, a serious Haruka actually plays around playfulyl with girls and "flirts" with them. However, this made Michiru annoyed, not because Haruka flirts with the girls , because of her teasing of girls too much. In the manga, there is no way that she can hide of being a lesbian. Haruka seems to be happy or surprised when any girls hugs her in happiness or in comfort, unless if Michiru knows the person, she won't get so jealous. I guessed Haruka loved getting attention.
