The guys of Linkin Park grabbed another prestigious award in the last World Music Awards held last March 6th in Monte-Carlo Sporting Club hosted by Jennifer Love Hewitt, Shaggy and Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray.
They beat the likes of LimpBizkit, U2 and that's all I can remember.
They were also nominated for Best Artist/Group.

Linkin Park GRAMMY AWARDS NOMINEE for 2002
Linkin Park are nominated for three Grammies! Best New Artist, Best Hard Rock Performance - "Crawling", and Best Rock Album - "Hybrid Theory". So be sure to watch the Grammies on February 27th to see how they do.LAUNCH asked guitarist Brad Delson if any of the nominations mean more than the others to Linkin Park. "I think that they all mean Grammy nominations and that's really good. We're just so honored to be nominated, I don't care at all if...It'd be great to win, but seriously, who cares? We're nominated, and it's an honor to be among all these great artists that we respect and admire. It's just so exciting. It's just icing on an otherwise really well-iced cake," he said with a laugh. Delson added that his friends are sick of hearing about Linkin Park's success. "At a certain point I can't even tell my friends this kind of stuff, because they don't want to hear it."

MTV Asia has unveiled the winners for its inaugural MTV Asia Awards 2002
held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium last February 2, 2002 @ 9pm hosted by Mandy Moore and
Ronan Keating.Nominees have been compiled from Asian music, entertainment and fashion industries.
Linkin Park wins Favourite Breakthrough Artist in the first ever MTV Asia Awards. Even
though they did'nt make to the awards night they sent a very special vid message performing
"One Step Closer" which really touched the people in Asia. Thank you guys!!!
