Personalized Magazines

Take some color copies of photos from a memorable event, a few facts and stories, and you have a personalized magazine! I made these for my family for their birthdays one year. Here is a sample one I did to commemorate my son's birth.

Materials Needed:

Color copies of photos

Facts/stories to go with the photos

Stickers/markers to decorate pages

First, decide on your "layout." I usually include the following sections:

Fashion Page: With photos of the person, commenting on clothes.

Notes From The Editor: My own little "editorial"

Cool Things To Do Page: Photos of the person doing stuff they think is cool-for my sister, it was taking care of her animals, for my little brother, it was playing with blocks and airplanes. . .

Main Article: This is about the person you're doing the magazine for, usually to commemorate something. I usually include "interview" questions and answers from family members and friends.

After I put it together, I take it to a copy center to have it laminated and bound.
