My Hammer and Clements Family This is the genealogy of the Hammer and Clements family I have collected over the years. Some is my research and some has been done by others. Hammer Family The Hammer family has been traced back to North Carolina. From North Carolina they family moved to Marion county , Illinois where John Hammer raised his family. Some of the family remained in Illinois while 2 of his sons found their way to Texas where there are still descendants. |

Clements Family The Clement family starts with whom we think is Clement Clements who was born in SC. Clement served in the Revolutionary War and later moved to Bibb county , Georgia. He died in Marion county , Georgia.
His son Gabriel moved on to Mississippi . We have found his children in Calhoun , Pontotoc and Lafayette counties. His son , Jacob B. moved to Arkansas where he raised his children. Jacob and one son moved back to Ms in the 1900's . Most of his children remained in Saline county or Pulaski county , Arkansas. |
