Du, Fu (712-770 CE)
A pair of golden orioles sing on a green willow.
A line of white egrets rise to the blue sky.
Outside my window lies snow which has accumulated for a thousand years on the
western mountain.
Near my door sits a boat that has sailed a thousand miles from Eastern Wu
District.
