In the name of God Amen. I Whitdon Andrews being in a low state of health but in sound mind and memory do think proper to fix my affairs while in sound mind and memory . First of all I commend my soul into the hands of God from whence it came and so___ Touching my worldly affairs to dispose of in the following manner. First of all I want my tush___ Debts to be paid if there is any. Where is none of magnitude; Item I lent to my beloved wife my dwelling House and all the Furniture there in during her widowhood. Item I lend to my beloved wife one part of the plantation where I now live Beginning in the road in a bottom then with sd bottom until it becomes square with the ___ fence that runs by the still then with ___fence to the mill branch then with the road to the Beginning during her widowhood. Item I give to my beloved wife one Horse her choice Two Cows and calves her choice Two sows and pigs her choice also she is to have privilege of all my land to cut fire wood and Timber for her us during her widowhood Item I lend to my beloved wife one Negro man named Pivin and one negro woman named F zledy and her increase and one negro boy named Bessy___ During her widowhood after that to be equally divided between all my daughters then living. 4 May 1772 To my son Edmund one negro man Simon, one feather bed and furniture, two cows and calves, two pewter dishes, one basin, some spoons, one iron pot---all these articles for the use of my daughter Millie Blunt and her children at the discretion of my sd son Edmund during the life of her husband Thomas Blunt; after Thomas Blunt's death, sd articles to go to my sd daughter Millie or to her children, and my grandson Benjamin Blunt to receive more that an equal share with the other children. To my daughter Millie Blunt five shillings sterling. I lend to my daughter Martha Pearse the plantation where she now lives during her lifetime; after her death, it to go to her son Lovick Pearse; also lend to sd daughter Pearse the use of negro man Toney, one feather abed and furniture, two pewter dishes, one basin, and some spoons during her life; after her death sd articles to be divided among Martha's children, Lovick Pearse excepted. To my daughter Elizabeth Andrews one negro man Harry, one feather bed and furniture, two pewter dishes, one basin, some spoons. To my son Edmund Andrews the land where he now lives which I purchased from James Bonner containing 150 A; also to him one negro man Sam, one negro man Robin, one black walnut desk, one black walnut creel table. To my son Etheldred Andrews the land where I now live which I purchased from Orsburn Sessers; also one negro woman Diner. To my son Levi Andrews one negro man Ned, one still. To my wife Sarah one negro man Pompey, one feather bed and furniture, one horse, bridle and saddle, two cows and caves, two pewter dishes, three plates, one basin, some spoons, one iron pot, one safe that she keeps her cloaths in, and after her death all the articles to be divided among all the children then living. To my wife also five pounds proclamation money.
