Crocheted Bootee Pattern

This is a beautiful crochet bootee for
you to make. It has a lovely shell design on the top of the bootee.
Level:
easy - medium
Tools Required:
2mm crochet hook
No 8 Cotton
Ribbon
Instructions:
(make 2 - beg at sole)
Rnd 1 using 2mm hook ch18, 6dc in 4th ch from hook, hdc in
next 13chs, 7dc in last ch (toe), work on other side of work, hdc in next
13chs. Join with sl st in top of ch3.
Rnd 2 ch3, dc in same st, 2dc in next 5dc, dc in next 13 hdc, 2dc in
next 7dc, dc across next 13 hdc. Join with sl st on top of ch3
Rnd 3 & 4 ch3, dc in each st. Join with sl st in top of ch3.
Fasten off.
INSTEP SHAPING
Rnd 1 ch4, join with sl st to form ring
Rnd 2 ch3, 11dc in ring. Join with sl st in top of ch3
Rnd 3 ch3, dc in same sp as ch3, *2dc in next dc, rep from * to end.
Join with sl st in top of ch3
Rnd 4 ch3, dc in next 19dc. DONT FASTEN OFF.
With right side facing, centre instep to centre of toe, ch2. sc in both
thicknesses ch3, dc in each st including instep, remembering to place 2dc
at each side of instep.
TOP
Rnd 1 ch4, *sk1, dc in next st, ch1, rep from * to end. Join with sl st
in top of ch3.
Rnd 2 sl st to first ch1 sp, ch3, dc, ch2, 2dc (shell) in ch1 sp, *sc in
next ch1 sp, shell in next ch1 sp, rep from * to end. Join with sl st in
top of ch3
Rnd 3 turn, sl st into centre of shell, ch3, 1dc, ch2, 2dc (shell),
*shell in next shell, rep from * to end. Join with sl st in top of ch3
Rnd 4 turn, sl st into centre of shell, ch3, 1dc, ch2, 2dc (shell),
*shell in next shell, rep from * to end. Join with sl st in top of ch3.
Fasten off. Weave in all ends.
Make up:
Thread ribbon in ribbon holes. And tie into a bow at the centre front.
