Sculptures are carved from a 300 lb. block of ice using a chain saw, hand saws and chisels resulting in a dramatic crystal-like figure.  Carvings will last for approximately four hours in a 70 degree room.

 

 I have lived in Cape May, NJ for a number of years.  My background and training are in the Culinary Industry but I have always had a love of art.

Ice Sculpture is a way to join these two interests.

 

After working in the Restaurant business and carving ice sculptures occasionally for special events I realized how much I enjoyed working with ice; crafting an object out of frozen water and watching how it transforms while melting.

 

On this site are many pictures of carvings I have done.  Each sculpture is carved to order, no molds are used.

The price for a single block carving starts at $375.

Prices vary based on degree of difficulty, number of blocks of ice required, and location to be delivered.
