I have watched Days of Our Lives for 23 years, since my mother still dressed me in training pants. Louise Sorel is an outstanding actress who brings enjoyment to both young and mature audiences. Not since the days of Eugene and Calliope has the Days writing staff managed to intermingle some creative but intelligent humor into the storylines. Finally, we have someone who is talented enough of an actor to be able to play both serious and comic parts well, and Corday is going to let her go. What a crying shame!
Letting Louise Sorel go would be a great mistake. She has been a great asset to the show!! I have watched her since the days of Carly Manning being buried alive. Vivian Alamain is part of Days and letting her go is such a tragidy. Please Please reconsider.....
Not only is she a wonderful person to meet , but she is a fabulous actress. If Ms. Sorel would stay it would be keeping tradition alive. You see not many of the original charactors are still on the show. I can not remember i time that i did not watch days of our lives. My mother and i watched days of our lives since i was very little. My mother went to school with Deidre Hall in Florida, She even signed my mothers high school year book. But sadly my mother died 7 years ago of a rare disease. Louise is a great part of Days, and they would be really dumb to just let her go. Her offbeat comedy will bring people to tears of laughter or just a little sunshine to brighten there Days.

Ever since Louise Sorel came to Days of our Lives she has protrayed a great character which I have really enjoyed watching. She makes the show fun to watch by some of the silly things she did. Espically some of the things that her and Ivan did. That really made me want to watch to see what those two were up to. In fact I used to only watch the show if Vivian was going to be on that particular day. So it would be a big mistake to let her go because she plays a great part and a lot of people enjoy watching her act and would be disappointed if she left the show. Thanks, Heather

Louise Sorel is such a vital part of the Day's cast. Over the years her character has done so many evil things, but no matter what she does we can't help but love her. The character of Vivian provides not only drama and excitement but also comedic relief something sorely needed in the flaging story lines of late. Vivian and Ivan always provided a moment of refreshment both from tension and boredom. Louis Sorel is a excellant actress who always makes you "buy" the character's role even when you know it ridiculous. So many fine actors and actresses have slipped away -- don't loose another.
I have only been following days for a couple of years, but through it all, Louise Sorel has been one of the best actors of the show. She is so versatile. I love her. She's funny and witty. Letting Louise go would be a serious mistake.

The character of Vivian provides wit, humor, and continuity to the show. This character could interact vividly with the characters of Victor and Kate currently. The show is currently being overtaken by the "under 20" group, which is fine in small doses, but the loyal fans want the story lines to retain the cast they know and love. Please keep Louise on the show!

Absolutely, keep Vivian (Louise), she is the one breath of fresh air we can always depend on. When the plots get to far out she seems to be able to bring everything back inti perspective.

I have been watching Days off-and-on through-out junior high when Patch and Kayla started their honeymoon to know where the Princess Gina storyline is thankfully coming to a conclusion. During that time, I have watched Louise Sorel's debut as Vivian Alamain, playing the aunt of another talented actor, with much interest. I have enjoyed watching her character blossom from a cold and calculating "Auntie Viv" to a woman whose heart can be broken by watching from a short distance the man whom she loves dote on the woman she hates. She also has her manic moments which Louise carries off with flair and without a shred of fear. I have loved watching her all these years, and if she ultimately does leave, she will leave quite a hole, and the show will be that much more cheerless without her. A cheer which unfortunately cannot be duplicated by their new teen cast.
Keep Vivian, you lose a great "cat fight" with Kate if you lose Vivian. Plus she's one of the great comic reliefs on the show with her hairbrained ideas.

I have been watching DOOL since 7/19/77. In the last few years, when the storyline has become boring, dull, or "lets get it over with," the only reason I have stayed a fan is because of Louise. Though I like her with Ivan better, she can always be counted on to make her character so horrible you love her. I think if DOOL goes through with their plans to not keep "Viv" they will be making a terrible mistake. There is still alot they can do with the character.
Vivian adds a lively, mature spark to 'Days'. The younger generation is great, the middle generation is always interesting, but please don't take away our older, excellent actors also! We, the baby-boomer generation, are alive and well and living exciting lives like Vivian and her counterparts. We don't want to lose her! (And what a spark Gran adds to the show!)

Days is making a very big mistake letting Louise Sorel go. The cast of Days is wonderful and they will be losing one of their best! Her appearances have always made me laugh one way or the other. I was disappointed when they let Ivan go as well. Louise and Ivan had the best chemistry. I do hope that Days will change their mind and keep Louise. I started watching Days during the Carly buried alive story and one of the reasons I continued to watch Days was because of Vivian and Ivan. They have provided comedy relief on the show and were very entertaining to watch. I have missed Ivan's interaction with Vivian since his character's role was diminished. Vivian can hold your interest and you can't wait to see what she'll do next. I have been very disappointed lately in the addition of all the teenaged characters and am grateful that I tape the show and can fast forward through all of those stories. I realize you need to add new characters to attract a new audience but I believe you have reached the saturation point with all the new and "aged" kids. Please keep your long time loyal viewers interested as well and retain good actors and actresses such as Louise Sorel. Who is out buying the products that your advertisers are selling - teenagers???? I have only been watching Days of Our Lives for a few months now, but during that time I have come to very much respect and enjoy Louise Sorel's work. I think she adds a lot to the show and would be sorely missed if she left.
Louise Sorel and Vivian bring life to almost every storyline on the show. Bringing Vivian to the show has to be one of the best decisions they made to start. She is a wonderful actress and has wonderful talent. Besides, Vivian is an essential character on DOOL, you are giving up on all the adult characters and just bringing stupid teeny boppers on the show (I am part of the audience you want to target and your "magic" is not working on me). And without her character, Kate and Victor wont have much of a storyline anymore, same will happen to Nicolas.

I have been watching Days of our Lives for thirty-five years, and have seen many people come and go. . . however to let Louise go at this time would be a big mistake. With all the teeny-boppers you have added to the cst, you really need a person who is a good actor, as well as an integral part of the show, to counterbalance all the young cast. So many of your younger folks haven't got the vaguest idea of what a good actor is, that it would be against Days' best intentions to get rid of it's BEST actor! Louise and Ivan were a comedy team who were the favorites of the fans. But even without Ivan and Celeste, Louise is the best thing you've got on the show.

Lousie Sorel is one of the most talented performers the show has to offer. Her delightful character, Vivian Alamain, has been one of the very few characters that I actually like on the show. So, perhaps, instead of getting rid of yet another multi-talented performer, DAYS should rethink their youth-rush and keep Louise. For once, do what the fans want, and keep her around. She's one of the only reasons I bother to tune in at all. Once she's gone, so am I.

She is currently involved in the love "triangle" (can we say square, there are 4 participants) and it would be a shame to snatch her out of the story. I believe Louise Sorel (Vivian Almain) should continue on Days of Our Live. At first , I wasn't sure I liked her. But as her character has developed and grown , I feel there are many women who identify with what she represents: her initiative, creativity, humor, warmth nature , and yes, even a little devious when the occasion calls for it. Please keep her on.
Vivian's character on Days is one of the reasons I continue to watch the soap. In fact, my mother in law models her own life after Vivian's character and is holding her breath until Vivian and Victor re-unite as a couple.
Please keep Vivian on Days.
I am a 20 year Days veteran and am very concerned with the loss of a very good character actress like Louise Sorel and then seeing you keep a horrible character like Kate. Its not because fans typically have a favorite, its more like a difference in actresses. Lately it seems that the Kate storyline is going nowhere, leaving a beautiful opening to really juice up the Vivian character. What ever happened to the "Good Ole Days"?

Lousie Sorel is an asset to the show. I enjoy watching her all the time. She is an absolute scene stealer. She can make any story line fun to watch. I found it hard to believe she was being let go. Why would anyone want to take her off the show. She is a great actress. Perhaps there is more to the story than is being shared with the viewers, but as a fan of Days for many years now, I have always enjoyed her work. Last year was such a terrible year for Days fan with the loss of Carrie, Mike, Billie, and now Eric. It tends to get frustrating, because you grow to love or hate characters and then before you know it there gone. I hope Louise will remain on the show.
I can't believe Corday Productions, or the powers that be, would even consider letting Louise Sorel (Vivian Alamain) leave the show. She is definately one of daytime TV's MAJOR talents! Have you people lost your minds completely? She is a "breath of fresh air" on this show, and every DAYS fan I have spoke with agrees. Some of us have started taping the shows so we could fast forward through certain parts (like the VERY draggy story line about Gina), but Louise is such a favorite of so many. PLEASE reconsider this "idiot" decision to let Louise Sorel leave!

Vivian has been on the show for EVER and is a wonderful addition to the cast. They are bringing in all of these young people that have no story line and/or history with the show. With Vivian she used to be a character you loved to hate. Now she is a character you love to love. It's a huge I mean HUGE mistake to get rid of her. I am a young person myself (early 20's) but I can tell you this I remember when Vivian barried Carlye alive. From the time that I remember Vivian has always been on the show. It's like the Days of Our Lives writers do not want anyone to be happy in the life of Salem. They get rid of Jen and Jack, then Carrie and Mike, Where has Laura been. What about Kimberly and the old gang. Something needs to be done to make sure this Soap doesn't turn into a Dawson's Creek. The more origional characters they get rid of, the more it is turning out to be a teeny boppers soap. Not COOL.
I have watched days for a very long time and actually its the only soap that I watch.Vivan Alamain is one of my favorite people on the show and to have her leave would be a very big mistake,she is a very big part of the show and would really be missed. I feel and with many others that I work with that you should leave her on. The show wouldn't be the same without her.

Vivian should not be allowed to leave Salem. She is such an intregal part of the show and without her, we can't have Kate playing off Vivian for Victor's love. Days of Our Lives producers have done many good things for the show as well as many dumb things, but getting rid of Louise Sorel is one of the stupidest things you've ever done. There are many new story lines Vivian could have (Victor's flame, battle with Kate, etc.) If it weren't for Vivian, I would have stopped watching the show years ago. She makes it funny. While the rest of the stories have taken YEARS to come to a conclusion, Vivian is the only character that keeps me watching the show. Seriously, Days, where is your head?????????
Louise needs to stay on Days! Her portrayal of Vivian is so wonderful. She is witty, mean, comedic--she is the best. Days is writing out a wonderful character, and they need to re-think that decision. Salem is becoming teen city, USA. We need to keep the adults around! I have been watching this show for over 15 years and Vivian is the best comic relief you have ever had. She tops Caliopie(?) and Susan 10 times. Victor and Kate have no chemistry, but when Viv and Vic are in the same frame, I feel the heat. I understand you are trying to get the younger market, but please show your alliance to the die-hard fans who have been with the show for years. Our input has to be taken first.

The writers need to come up with a story line with Viv,Stef,and Vic. When they get through with the Kate and Nicholas, add Kate. Because that story line will not go far. Anyways, let Vivian stay.
Louise Sorel amkes the show much more interesting with all he antics. She protrays one of the most comical villians I have ever seen. She is one of my favorite actresses. I would really hate to see her leave.

I have been a fan of Days of Our Lives for 20 + years. There have been many characters during that time span, some of which have been long forgotten. Vivian Alamain is a character that one does not easily forget! I have to say that Louise Sorel is one of the best actresses on the show and has brought a touch of humor and feeling to a character that could have been completely unlikeable. If she leaves, Days of Our Lives will have lost one of their most colorful characters!
To let Louise Sorel go would be like taking a knife and cutting to humer out of the show. Without Vivian there would be no Celest or Ivan and we would be left out in the cold with long drawn out storylines and no comiedic breaks.

She was wonderful when Stefano was controling her behavior. She is an outstanding actress and keeps a great storyline going between Victor and Kate. Vivian Alamain is one of the most interesting characters on Days, she is funny and unpredictable. Her schemes add dimention to the show's story line. Besides if Vivian leaves Salem, who's going to keep Kate Roberts on her toes?
Louise Sorel is a marvelous actress, and has brought lots of skill and enjoyment to her role of Vivian Alamain. I know writers sometimes have to rest characters to revive them, but Vivian is such a part of the Salem tapestry that her rest should be a short one, if at all. John needs his relatives, and by keeping Vivian/Louise, we also get to see Ivan and Celeste on at least a recurring basis. I do believe the producers are making a mistake, and I hope they will reconsider, but I doubt they will. . . they never do listen to us viewers. By the way, I have watched Days through thick and thin since the '60's. The only major storyline I have ever missed entirely was the one where Marie was in love with her brother Tommy. FWIW
Pleaes renew Louise Sorel's contract. She is a consumate actress. She has an incredible range of talents. She offers something to those of us who are bored with the Teenie Bopper storylines. It really would be a shame to lose her comedic and villainess capabilities.
I think Viv should not leave. She could be a big part of Days right now. If Kate goes with Nicholas, then Viv could be in with Victor and his doings. She's such a wonderful character/person. It's a shame, but it seems like Days is trying to get rid of all the good ones...Celeste, Ivan...just to get a younger crowd!!! I tell ya what, there's more of 'us older ones' that watch than the teeny boppers!!!! Days, quit getting rid of all the great actors and actresses!!! Getting rid of Vivian is like getting rid of Sami . . . a desperate attempt at stupidity. If the actress wants to leave, that's one thing. But to fire her -- that's totally different. She has served the show well, adding character and vitality. Since this current (idiotic) storyline with Princess Gina/Hope, the writers have neglected our favorite villianess. Before this, she was wonderful. She is wonderful . . . the writers just aren't using her to their best advantage. A show like Days is nothing without its splash of humor. Vivian adds that wonderful splash. Keep her and keep the show alive.

Also Kate does not deserve Victor, Vivian does she is his equal. Please do not take away Louise Sorel you have already taken away so many dear charaters from us over the years, such as Patch and Kayla, Shane and Kimberly and now you have taken away Mike and Carrie how much more can we take? My husband actually watches DOOL with me (we tape it every day) and have enjoyed more laughs from Louise's character. Please leave Louise on Days! I have been watching for decades, my daughter now is a fan. The program has been becoming too "Young" like all the other daytime shows, don't get me wrong, you do need to add new characters to keep viewers, but please don't forget us faithful viewers, we need to be able to relate to the show with people in our age bracket too. Getting rid of Vivian and her sidekick, Evan, is a terrible mistake. Don't you know how funny those two are? When my husband broke his leg and had to stay home form work a few years ago, he would recap all of the silly things that Vivian would do that day. Now, for my husband to watch a Soap Opera, and to talk about it, is astonishing. He and I both believe that Vivian is too wonderful a talent to lose. For myself, if she goes to General Hospital like the rumors say, I will be doing some channel switching.
In general I do not like when old charcters are replaced. The replacements never seem to fit the part as well as the original.(i.e. the new Jennifer, she had the worst acting ability!) Louise Sorel is a vital part of the Days cast and should be concidered an asset!

Louise Sorel in her role as Vivian Alamain has been a jewel in the dross that is surrounding Days lately. With all the emphasis placed on the teens and twenty somethings, it has been refreshing to have a mature actress with so much wit and glamour on the screen. I just cannot imagine Days without Vivian in all her wacky glory schemeing to bring down Kate and get Victor back. Besides if Vivian goes, we would also loose Ivan, who I absolutley adore!
Letting Louise Sorel go after so much dedication to DOOL is truly a tragedy! How does DOOL intend to replace what is being lost? As Vivian, Louise portrayed a villain who was witty, charming, classy and provided some much needed comic relief. I, for one, always looked forward to the antics of scene-stealing Vivian. There is no way that DOOL will ever be able to replace Louise or her character. Loosing Louise will surely be a dark day in the history of DOOL. Why would DOOL sacrifice such a talented actress? It makes no sense! Vivian Alamain, and all of her antics, appeals to both young and old viewers so there is absolutely no justification for this move on the part of DOOL producers. Her spontaneity was delightful and it was one of the only reasons I tuned in on a regular basis -- I never wanted to miss a scene with Vivian. I've been a faithful viewer for 22 years but now I won't need to watch the show on a daily basis anymore. I can just tune in once every week or two since I know I won't be missing anything.
Louise Sorel, by way of her character Vivian Alamain, adds some much needed humor to "Days of Our Lives." She is funny, sarcastic, strong, independent, and weak, all at once. My sister has been watching Days of Our Lives since the mid 80's, and I could not really get into it back then. However, that changed when I saw Louise Sorel as Vivian bury Carly Manning alive! From then on I was hooked! I love all of the crazy antics that Vivian and Ivan have shared from stealing embryos, drugging Kate's pilot (by mistake) resulting in Kate's departure for a year so she could go after Victor yet again, encouraging Laura to gather up enough strength to escape from the mental institution, and even dressing in a chicken outfit to help pay the bills. Every time she is on screen, my husband and I can not wait to see what she will do next. I love to laugh, and an appearnace by Vivian, Ivan, and Celeste truly make me forget about the bad things in life for a while. It would be terrible to have her leave. Why are you trying to upset so many people? Louise Sorel is THE MAIN reason I continue to watch the show. Please reconsider, and sign her to another contract. What will become of the show without Madame?
I think that the whole show is going down hill and it seems that a lot of us are starting to find shows on other networks that are more loyal to the long-term fans and actors. This is just another example of TBTB not caring! LS, or Viv, as we like to call her, is a big part of the show and will be missed. I have heard that she has already been hired by another show and intend to go with her!
I have been a loyal fan of Days for 28+ years. There have been many story lines, many changes in characters, many children young one day and teens the next, etc but Vivian has been a foundation in alot of the plots since 92 when she joined the Days Family. I can't believe that you would let such an asset to the success of this show slip by.
All the characters I have loved (& loved to hate) over the years have gone. I'm in my 20's and have watched Days all of my life. Honestly, the cast is too young, immature and losing my interest quickly. I just don't feel that I can remain devoted to the show if it turns into a Saved By The Bell wanna-be. Please-- Save Vivian & you will be on the right track to saving the show. Face it-- the younger teen audience really isn't going to watch anyways!! We love Vivian!!!!
Vivian is a marvelous, complex character. She is over 40, and yet vibrant and whitty. I think she is a wonderful reminder of the long-standing ties between the different families in Salem. Louise is delightful to watch.
There is no greater talent than Louise on Days. If you really knew what the fans of Days like you would do everything within your power to keep this wonderful character and actress right up front on the show.
What can you say about the person or persons responsible for trying to reduce Louise Sorel's contract to that of a "day player" (much like what was attempted with John Aniston)? Only if they look up the definition of moron in the dictionary they will find a picture of themselves! Louise is not only an incredible actress, but is an inspiration as a person to women over 30. DOOL is making a MAJOR mistake by having these "teen heavy" storylines. People who are true, loyal soap fans are people who are interested in a range of characters and a range of ages. We are interested in Alice Horton to Will Roberts. And we are entertained and amused with the antics of "Vivian Alamain". It's probably a moot point with Louise now going to General Hospital, but if you dummies CAN get her back, it would be worth ANY price!

Vivian was one of the best parts of watching Days! The producers are making some huge mistakes recently. They are trying to make the cast younger, but the truth is, most women who are actually home during the day are much older than the high school crowd. I, for one, am really getting fed up with all the teeny bopper high school crap they are forcing us to watch, and I know many of my friends feel the same way. Vivian's character was the humorous portion of the show. I always looked forward to what she would cook up next. I will miss her character dearly, and I am seriously thinking about switching soaps...and I have watched this one for 20 years!

Everyone can relate to the character Vivian Alamain in some way or another. The little and big devilish things she conjurs up. Some of us would even wish to be more like her but can't seem to get up enough nerve to carry out our plans. So we watch and enjoy, admire, and just wonder what she will be up to next. Louise Sorel adds that believable addition to the Alamain personna. I really enjoy watching Days and feel that Louise is so important to the show.
Please keep up on. You'll be lucky if she agrees to stay after you put her in this situation. Another show is going to snatch her up and win awards next year, just watch and see (if you don't keep her). If you keep her on then I'm proud of those who listen.

Vivian Alamain's character has been one of my favorites. At times when the other story lines were draggin out for what seemed like an eternity Vivian is the reason I watched Days of Our Lives. You just never knew what she would do next. she is a refreshing character in a sea of people that all have amnesia. I was really looking forward to seeing her and Victor get back together. I will truly miss her.

I began watching Days during the Buried Carly Alive storyline. I loved watching Vivian since the day I saw her on air. She can act evil and as a true mean villianess. As well, she can be funny with Ivan. Lastly she is a wonderful, expressive and special actress that shoudln't be let go. This is a bad idea to let her go. The writers could have and should have come up with an interesting storyline for the best verstile actress on Days and daytime.
It was a mistake to let Louise Sorel go. The whole plot of Days could have been more interesting if Days would have kept Vivian. Letting Vivian go is like letting a part of the show go. Who else could carry on the role of Vivian and bring that kind of entertainment to the show? A big gap in the plot was made by letting Vivian go. It would have been a big rating booster to let Vivian have information over Kate and force Kate to do things. Why would Days break up the team of Vivian and Ivan when they were such a dynamic duo? I think this was all a big mistake.

DOOL should keep Ms. Sorel as Vivian Alimain. All the things she did meant something to just about every story line. Who else would bury someone alive, marry someone in a practice cerimony, dress up in hillarious costumes and add all the little jokes to Salem. Keep Louise as Vivian. I have really enjoyed Louise Sorel's character Vivian. She can be devious. She can be dramatic. She has the rare talent of providing an exceptional level of comedy. When paired with Ivan, the two are a riot! Letting "Vivian" go is a huge mistake. She's one of the few characters I actually respect. Good or bad--she is always genuine.

I have watched Days also since day one. I have seen this happen before and swore I would quit watching. I probably won't this time, although I am tempted. Must they always cut off their nose to spite their face? Seems to me they should be down on their knees begging Louise to stay, she is so versatile. Keeping Kate and Nicole is like a slap in the face to Louise, and I wouldn't blame her for NOT accepting a plea to come back! She is one of a kind.... the greatest!

Who can forgote her performance at the 4th of July picnic. And just when Vivian came to terms with Victor, and her lfie seems to be getting back to normal, they write her off???? Big Problem!
Because Louise Sorel is a wonderful actress, and Vivian Alamain is an interesting, complex character. Days certainly doesn't have an overabundance of those at the moment.
My husband and I think Louise Sorel is wonderful. Vivian and Ivan bring some comedy relief to the show,instead of the always dead serious story lines,they brought some levity and smiles to the story. We were always curious as to what was the next adventure Vivian and Ivan would get themselves into. Louise Sorel is much to good to let go. Please think about bringing her back to the show.
I know this is a bit late, but I think it's a tragedy that Louise Sorel has been fired. She is extremely talented and it's such a loss for the fans that she is no longer part of the show. I've watched DOOL for about 20 years and Vivian and Ivan are by far my favorite characters. They will be sorely missed.
I agree with everyone that Sorel played Vivian unremarkably well and she will be missed very very much. On the other hand there was nothing left for her character to do at the present time. The writing for her character was getting weak, which is the writers' fault. But I would like to see her come back later to do her sordid things that she does so well. The best thing I remember was her burying Carly alive. Definately bring her back when the time is right. (Like you do with so many of the other characters.
Louise Sorel is simply the best. When Vivian is on, the show is lively and funny. Ivan and Celeste will be greatly missed too. Bring them back! Too many favorites are gone. I miss Carrie and Mike, too. The show was more interesting with them.
Louise's protrayal of Vivian keeps me watching DOOL. She keeps the show fresh and funny. If she goes so do I, and I have been watching DOOL since the begining. KEEP LOUISE!
I have been a fan of Days for twelve years in Australia and I think the best thing to ever happen on the show was when Louise Sorel started to play Vivian Alamain.She is also a favourite among my friends. I don't know if I will kept watching the show when her character stops appearing in the episodes in Australia.
I think Days should bring back Louise Sorel (Vivian). She has been with Days for years and like 99% of Days fans loved her. I say Days NEEDS to bring her back for for fans. If they don't start doing something Days is going to go down and down and keep on falling. They have to start bringing back characters and stop careing them out so long! BRING BACK LOUISE SOREL. Vivian is such an entertaining person on Days of our Lives. She really adds to the show with her witty personality. I am sorry to hear that Days of our Lives is getting rid of people that have become part of our "FAMILY". I will have to switch to a new soap because I will not sit back and continue to watch the show knowing that our wonderful actors/actresses are being cut from the show. These people actually become a part of our lives and become like a family to us.
Vivian is the best!!! Louise brings such drama and life to the charter...she brings action and adventure. I would like for Louise Sorel better know as viv or aunt viv to John to stay on. The reason for this is she a very good actress. She is funny at time. I also have watched Santa Barbra where she has played on. I liked her then and i like her now. She puts the finishing touch to days. She also puts a ray of sunshine to the show not to mention more class to the show. So please don't let Louise go.
Days used to be my favorite show in the world, but now I am questioning why I watch this show so religously. I yearn for the old days, when there were interesting story lines, and there was an actual point to the show. When Carly was burried alive or when Marlena was posessed had to be the best two soap story lines in history. Lately there has been very little going on, and all the story lines revolve around bad actors. Vivian was one of the only reasons I still watch the show, and she was always a superb actress. I can't imajine why you have taken her off the show. There are so many interesting things that you could have done with her. The same thing goes for Kurt. He was a good actor, and he was surronded by mystery. How can you possibly not see the golden opprotunity for a great story line with this man. The only really good charactor on Day's right now is Chloe. The other charactors are good but dont have a story line to go with them. Wise up and bring back the great actors of Day's. Why dont you bring back the old writters while your at it!
'Days of Our Lives' only recently came to England (from 1 Jan 2000) and it clearly stood out as being a superior soap-opera. One of these reasons was the delightful Vivian Alamain who soon became my favourite character. Natch, she leaves the show 1 1/2 months after I start watching it. Despite being a 17-year old myself, many of the better actors, storylines and characters belong to the 'older' actresses, who are needed for balance. Hopefully, Corday Productions will rectify this grave mistake.

I hate to let you ptb in on the secret, BUT watching the antics of Nancy and Craig, no matter how entertaining, will never replace the enjoyment and trepidation that Louise as Vivian gave to all of us. Please do the best thing for the show and the fans, BRING VIVIAN BACK!!!
I love the charter of Vivian..and the way it is portrayed by Louise! She is fabulous! All of the shadey things she has done and her adventures with Yvonne...those were great! It is not right to send off such a wonderful, award-winning actress and rid days of such a rich charter. If you want to get rid of an actor...get rid of Austin...aka "Duh-Ausitn"...all the fans know he has trouble rembmbering his lines...that is why we call him that!

But what happened to her starting her own company again, you know Alamain International. And you could have brought on a new leading man for her to sink her claws into. But I have even a better idea. There are veteran actors and actresses who are on the show and have nothing to do, no storyline or anything, and the only time you see them is when you need them to dish out advice or to fill up space at a party scene. Well how about using Vivian to break up the popular duo, Mickey and Maggie Horton. It would be nice to see all three of these talented people in a front burner storyline. Vivian switches her attention to the dashing Mickey Horton, because she has given up going after Victor, but she decides to help Nicole get her revenge on Victor and Kate, by helping her with her scheme, in return Nicole has to help Vivian break up Mickey and Maggie, so Vivian can have Mickey to herself. I see great dialogue between these characters, and I see a great storyline with the use of great veteran actors and actresses. Plus Vivian adds that villainess character again, that Days is desperately missing. It alos paves the way for bringing back Nicholas Alamain and Sarah Horton, and involving them in a romance. I have been watching Days religiously for years now, and no characater has had me laughing like Vivian. It's not just the character, it's the way Louise portrays her. I'd hate to see her leave the show permanently. Please bring her back for me, a real fan.

Vivian Alamain brings colour and life into a really good Tv-show. Her character is funny and she brings humour into "Days of our lives". She has many fans, and that should be enough to keep her character because Days will not be the same without her!
Louise Sorel is the best ever, in Norway we are still enjoying her on screen and we want to keep her. PLEASE take her back, you will gain a lot of respect and a lot more fans if you do!

I have watched Days, religiously, since 1995, but with the absents of Ms. Sorel, I am finding it more difficult to keep interested in the show. I find myself searching the web for recaps and scripts of her episodes to read instead of actually watching the show. I hope that one day soon, Vivian Alamain will return so I can enjoy Days once more.
