Welcome to Boojum's Low-Carb Diet Guide! If you're considering going on a low carbohydrate diet, then you've come to the right place. This site provides answers to the common low-carb questions, along with the tips, tricks and advice which can only come from someone who's done (and is still doing) the diet.

Let me stress right off the bat that these are personal pages—I am not a doctor nor have I ever played one on TV. Any truly health-related questions or concerns should be directed towards your personal care physician.

As I'll say often, I highly recommend reading a copy of Dr. Atkin's New Diet Revolution before beginning this diet. He explains much of the science behind this diet, in amongst the 'Yay rah rah' type of fluff that's also there. I urge you to read the book, or one similar, to gain the basic knowledge of exactly what is happening to your body while on this diet.
