11/19/02 The 1st [LRRP] Sniper Contest was held on Saturday. Although we didn't have as big a turn out as we had hoped, we still had a fun time. Unfortunately BG. Slimer won the contest in what turned out to come down to 3 troops. BG. Slimer, Msg. Strobe and Ssg. MadMex.
The Inter-Division Battles began last night with some intense and very close battles. In the first match, B1 had to go into overtime to defeat A1....final score 13-12. In the 2nd match, A2 squeaked out a win on the last map to lock up a victory over B2....11-9. I look forward to more interesting battles as the tournament rolls on.
Let's keep pushing on the recruiting front and getting the teams filled and moving. You troops are doing an excellent job!!!!!!!
11/14/02 Remember that this Saturday the 16th @ 2PM Est. is the first annual [LRRP] sniper compitition.
Also congradulations to the newest Team Leaders, promoted troops and our FNG's. We are growing fast and look for continued recruiting pushes. The more we fill up and get qualified players the more battles I can schedule.
I will be sending everyone the inter-division battle schedule today or tomorrow.
11/04/02 Been a while since we had an update. We are making great strides as a Division. Our teamwork and practice is paying off bigtime in the way we are performing in matches. We have boosted ourselves to a 11-7 record on Objective maps. Great job troops!!!!!!!!
We have a new website and I must say, Ssg. MadMex has done an excellent job with it. The address is www.lrrp.s5.com and it has everything from here plus a few other goodies.
We are growing fast and I am looking forward to expanding sometime in the future and developing a few new team leaders. So keep up the recruiting and training. Excellent work again troops!!!!!!!!
10/22/02 Last night was a battle for the ages. In a game that we were running away with, the enemy managed to put together a monster come back and we went into the last game with us needing to win 15-14. After finally figuring out thier tactics, Cpt. Kill-roid and Col. Slimer swept across into enemy territory and took out thier strong hold with excellent support from our snipers. Cpt. Kill-roid killed the last enemy to secure a 16-14 win. It was the rest of the troops in this game that REALLY stood out for us. Cpt. Kill-roid and myself seemed to be mere bystanders as, SMA. Conker, Sfc. Coug, Sgt. MadMex, Pvt. Doc Holliday and Pvt. Stryker carried the load through most of the second map. Excellent work troops!!!!!!!!
I would also like to CONGRADULATE Pfc. Stryker and Pfc. Doc Holliday on thier promotions!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10/16/02 Finally an update, CONGRADULATIONS to all who have been promoted and recieved medals or awards. I would also like to officially welcome all our FNG's to the Division and we expect great things from you all.
Last night we pulled a victory from the jaws of defeat with a shutout in the final round to beat GWG 14-11. Everyone battled hard and together.
Recruiting is going well and we need to stay on it and get the Teams Filled up with qualified troops.
*** The sniper contest date and time will be announced as soon as I have e-mails from the XO's with the people from thier Platoons who will be participating.
*** I am also working on putting together another contest from the brains of SMA. Conker. Details will be coming soon.
