The Butch album "The Bitch Of Rock'n'Roll" may be less obscure than is usually assumed. At least the band claims 5000 copies were pressed! They stayed in California in their quest for rock stardom, but were originally from Utica, NY. All this & much more will hopefully be found on a new website that is currently in progress.

Thanks for the acknowledgement, Patrick.  The article is coming along nicely.  I have one more interview to conduct & then should be ready to publish!  More to come...

Anonymous, the article was compiled directly from the source.  I don't know how much closer one can get than that.  If they are pulling someone's leg then that is on them.  One can never be 100% sure of a band's history when there is very little 3rd party information available to begin with.  I spoke with two members, two associates of the band & that's it.  I never claimed the article was the final word on Butch, but it's as close as I could get.  If you have access to others involved with the band, I welcome your input.  I am never beyond making addendums where needed.  This is not a vanity project, it's there to serve the artists themselves.

I remember this band. they were great live. They had make up on like Kiss. I do remember they had a 3 time loser shyster manager named Tommy Lynn that didn't know shit about managing a band. They ran oout of money in California and moved back to NY.
