M2M will always be
something super special for me..
The first time that I heard them
was on a concert on TV
I'd stay up past my bedtime
Just so I could see
I'll never forget the first time
I heard their first CD
Every song was just right
Everything a band should be!
So I started to be a huge fan
The biggest fan that i could be!
Checking their websites, writing them letters, and looking for them on TV!
Then one day on their website
was a great update
Saying a new CD was on the way
and that it would be sooo great!
I saved up all my money!
Got it the day that it came out!
And I still listen to it to this day
It's what music is all about!
Then the worst day of music history:
September 23
Although the reason was nothing but mystery
We found their music will no longer be heard
M2M had split up
Now just Marion and Marit
Something doesnt seem right
M2M was meant to be!!!
Even though M2M is gone,
I'm still a super big fan
And I'll always believe
that it was definitely the greatest band
I may not be the #1 Fan
I dont own every CD
Only 3 posters of the band
Nothing else to see
Even though I dont have all that stuff
Thats not what being a fan is about.
It's about loving the music and giving support.
And taking the time to help out.
Thats what I see everyday
