DANCE!
I have been a dancer for 11 years now, ever since I was three. I have studied types of dance such as jazz, lyrical, tap, hip-hop, irish, partnering, pointe, ballet, and some gymnastics. The dance studio I started at was called The Laural School of Dance but for the last six years I have strived at Art In Motion Dance Studio. There is no other way to describe my friends and teachers at Art In Motion other than saying, they are my family. I am so incredibly close to them and have had awsome relationships that have changed my life in the most positive way possible. Here are some of my accomplishments over the past 6 years at Art In Motion.
---won Miss Showbiz in 2000 for my tap solo
---went to New York city in an off-Broadway intensive study dance program
---won Starpower National Junior Soloist Champion in 2001 at Branson, Missouri
---participated in Power Pak dance program in Orlando, Florida
---Art In Motion Solo Scholorship winner in 2000
---Art In Motion 2002-2003 Scholorship winner
---3-time Company Dance scholorship winner
---3-year Dance teacher and choreographer at Art In Motion Dance Studio
---danced at a National competition in Las Vegas, Nevada

This is one of my amazing dance teachers who recently left Art In Motion and moved with her husband to Massachusets. Believe me, she is greatly missed!

This is the my main dance teacher Tricia Trimble who is the founder and director of Art In Motion. She is a truly amazing person and her and her husband Chad (another amazing teacher) have become my second parents.

All of these girls right here are my sisters. I couldn't have asked for better friends to spend my dance career and my teenage life with. They are the highlight of the years I have been at Art In Motion. I don't know what I would do without them.

This is my tap partner Nikki. Besides me, Nikki was the big tapper at Art In Motion first. We have shared the love of tap together for a couple years, but I am all alone this year. Nikki finished her dance career last year and recently went to be a U.S. Marine. She is also greatly missed.

I teach Beginning Dance classes at Art In Motion and these are my 2002 classes. Although teaching 3-year old's is quite achallenge, they were a lot of fun and I loved having the privilege of starting off their dance careers at such a young age.

These pictures were from recital 2002. Tricia is announcing all of the teachers at the studio and presenting us with flowers.

This is my big break in my dance life! I won Starpower National Solo Champion in 2001 at Branson , Missouri. I won $500 and, of course, the trophy!
