All About Me
Hi there! My name is Mary, and I live in Central
California. I have been married for five years
to my husband Kris. We have no children as of yet, but will be starting a family in the next year or two :) We DO have four fur babies running around our home though, two outside cats named Noony and Peanut, and two chihuahuas whom we love more than anything. Gigi is our four year old female, we have had her since she was a wee baby. Rusty is our 2 year old male which we brought into our home February 2000. We are SO HAPPY to have him here. They are unbelievable sweethearts and have brought so much joy and laughter to our lives..
I am a very down to earth, open-minded
person. I'm able to mold myself easily to fit in
with anyone. I have a terrific sense of
humor, and I thrive on making people laugh and bringing
smiles to their faces. I treat every person I
meet the same and never judge anyone
before knowing them first. I firmly believe
everyone should be treated the same way
regardless of their social status or appearance.
I try to be nice and pleasant with everyone and
hope the same is returned to me.
I have been onlince since April 1997. I started off on a WebTV, and have just recently turned into an AOLer :) I love
reading through my favorite cooking, health, and dog newsgroups, and I also spend a LOT of time shopping at eBay.
Im a MAJOR
shop-o-holic! Any free chance I get Im off to the stores shopping away. Im definitely addicted,
but Im sure my husband would rather live with
this addiction instead of any other. He is
wonderful and never harps me on my spending
splurges :)
I enjoy all types of music and I am always adding to my enormous cd collection. I also collect
movies, cookbooks, and chihuahua figurines.
My first priority in life is my
family. I have the most wonderful family on the
planet, if you were to meet them I know you would think the same. I love to spend every moment I
can with them. My very best friend is my mom. :) She is wonderful.
I have my tongue pierced and also have a cute
tattoo around my ankle . It seems crazy to most,
(especially my family!!:) But I don't flaunt it at all. I think individuality and
open-mindedness is so important in our society
today. Instead of looking down at people who
look and dress "different", we should look
beyond their appearance and think about the
person underneath it all. As long as they are
not hurting you, that is all that should
matter.
On December 15th 1998 I had RNY Gastric Bypass surgery. It is a weight loss surgery which staples a portion of
your stomach and also reduce the size of your
intestines so that food will digest quicker.. I
have lost 135 pounds so far(WOW)and my life has
changed incredibly for me.. MY LIFE IS WONDERFUL!! If you would like any information about this procedure,
or would just like to talk to someone who has
"been there" and understands how it is to be
overweight, please email me and I would be more
than happy to talk with you.
Well I guess this is all the info I have to share about me for now. I hope you enjoyed your
reading :)
