In the top MOC image, we find an interesting object casting a shadow.  The dark area is clearly a shadow, as it is angled the same direction as other shadows in this photo.  That suggests that the object casting the shadow is a vertical pillar-like structure.  (2001 a Space Odyssey anyone?)

This shadow, and the object casting it, appear to have a pronounced rectangular shape with sharp edges.

With a resolution of 2.86 m/pixel, the object is about 7 pixels or 20 meters tall, and the shadow is about 9 pixels or 25 meters long.  Just imagine standing next to that and craning your neck to look 65 feet up upwards into Mars's dusky pink sky.
