- Level 0 to Level 1: The Egg will become a Botamon in about 5 minutes.
- Level 1 to Level 2: The Botamon will become a Koromon in about 2 hours.
- Level 2 to Level 3: The Koromon will become a Betamon or an Agumon at about 2 years.
- Level 3 to Level 4: The Betamon can become a Darkmon, Airdramon, Seadramon, Meramon, or a Numemon at about 5 years.
- Level 3 to Level 4: The Agumon can become a Darkmon, Tyranomon, Greymon, Meramon, or a Numemon at about 5 years.
- Level 4 to Level 5: The Numemon is the only one that can become a Teddymon.
- Level 4 to Level 5:Darkmons, Greymons, and Airdramons can become the Metal Greymon.

Getting Specific Digimons
Low: To get a low digimon, you must feed him very little, train him very little, respond to alarms VERY slowly, and Wake him up while he's asleep.
Medium: To get a medium digimon, you must fill up all his strength and hunger hearts, respond like normal, and wake ups can go either way.
High: To get a high Digimon, you must feed your digimon even though all his hunger hearts are full, train him even though his strength hearts are full, respond VERY quickly, and never wake him up at night. Now for the good stuff, but remember some luck is involved in getting each digimon. Also be sure to check the evolution chart on this page, because the evolution steps are sometimes different with each digimon.

Remember though, that getting a good level 4 digimon usually means that your level 5 won't be as good. So take a risk and try the Numemon. That's the only way to get a Teddymon. Info on getting Level 5, Grand Champions is on its way.
Suspended Animation Pause Method
To Pause your digimon without messing up your Digimon without making him go to sleep go to the clock. Hold Top and Bottom buttons to get the Clock Set Mode. Just leave it like this. It will be like time has stopped for your digimon and it's in suspended animation.
A Rumor About Getting a Teddymon
Keep the tab you can push it back in and press C repeatedly until the screen fades then take it out repeat this process until the screen comes up with a TeddyMon. Warning! This cheat WILL reset your digimon! Warning!
People have gotten other digimons including Meramons, Mamemons, and many more. So if you get something different you ARE doing the code right.
Aging your Digimon Rumors
Everyone has their own theory about Aging a digimon faster than regular time. Digimon's ages CAN be messed with. Just set the clock a few minutes or even a few hours before it's bedtime it won't age him. One theory which sounds very convincing, is that they age after sleeping. So your digimon must get a full nights sleep before aging a year, or something like this.
Energy Cheat
When your digimon is in the Agumon,Betamon,Numemon or Airdramon stage,give him 200 vitamins.There will be 4 exclamation marks.
Instant Metal Greymon
When your DigiMon is a Koromon feed him until he says no put the tab in and take it back out and you will have a Metal Greymon. Use with caution! It could screw up your DigiMon if you don't have the "P" version!!!
Akumamon
Insert the tab and press A five times, C 2 times and B 10 times
Virus Killing Death Code
when the battle screen says "OK", press abb abb abb ac ac (do it quickly) and at the first shot press abac repeatedly and then at the second shot hold all the three buttons together till the last shot comes and the last shot press abb abb abb ab ab(also do it quickly).It may not kill your opponent but it will cause injury but you will win.
The Old-Manmon
I have been sent a message from someone that says when your Digimon is 30 years old and reset it continously for 5 mins non-stop (pull the tab in and out), you will get an "old man mon" . He is better than the skull shooting teddymon and he can turn the opponent into a butterfly with a cheat. He can easily kill a rookie and would be very hard to get poisioned even with the poison code. His life is quite short though.This code WILL work! It was tested by 7 people.

You put the tab in and press (in this order) A twice, B twice, C twice,once, B once. Then you pull the tab out.
The Poison Code
Now, like the Insta-Win code I'm now excepting variations on the Poison Code.1.To do the poison code,keep pressing abb,abb,abb a,c a,c contiuously.(do them all separately)If you you are lucky,a double poison will come out,thus killing your opponent.(one poison is enough to defeat your opponent) 2. In a battle, keep pressing ab,ab non-stop. The antidote for the poison code is flushing 25 times. .
Wake Mistake
If You wake your Digimon by accident you can put him back to sleep by pressing C then A then C quickly after that.
Heart's Rumour
When you Digimon is a Botamon, fill up all his hearts and then keep scrolling through the stats screen. The hearts won't go down.
Quick Morph
If your Digimon is a Koromon, you can make it a Agumon the next day by feeding it until it won't have any more and then training him to his minimum weight.
Now You Win Rumour
Ver 1, When you are fighting press AAABBBAA and your Digimon is sure to win, even if the other one does as well.Ver 2, Keep your finger on B before you fight, and there is also another one saying that if you train him twice between each fight he won't die.
Computermon Rumour
Now you can get an eating and sleeping but not fighting computer!If you use the Twins code ( when your teddymon dies you press c ten times while holding down b then reset it ) then with a bit of luck you could get a computermon.
Insta-Anymon Rumour
First, you reset your digimon with your tab Then you set the time to 1.01am or press bbac.Then,put your tab in and take it out while pressing b.You may get a numemon,meramon,teddymon,mememon,metal-greymon or character select.
Flaming Teddymon Rumors
To get an Invincible Invincible Teddy-Mon with Flaming Body, your Digimon must return to the megalithic mainframe at 99 years old. Once you are there press the top button 200 times,the middle 100 times and the bottom 25 times. Then when it re-hatches hold down top and bottom. Some say this works whenever your digimon goes to the mainframe. So whenever your digimon dies try this code out when restarting him.
Getting Your Digimon to Grow the Same Way
This code lets the DigiMon grow the same way as the time before. This only works when your DigiMon gets killed in a battle. When the computer screen comes up and says how old he was and all press and hold the bottom on top buttons. The screen will go to the egg and you have to set the time. Then your DigiMon will grow the same way as the time before. Warning!: Try this one at your own risk! NOT recommend trying this one unless you are absolutely sure!
Two Rumors: Getting Twins and the Digimon inside a Teddymon
How to get the guy INSIDE THE TEDDY-MON!!!
What you do, is get a TeddyMon, and then, get all hearts full, all energy full, and all 100% victories. Reset it, and press ABBABBABBAC, and then, when the egg is hatching, you will automaticly have the skull-shooting teddy-monster!
How to Get Twins To do it you have to grow a teddymon and when it dies you press the middle button then press c 10 times (you should be holding b still) after that stop pressing c and press reset (are you still holding b?...) and reset. no you don't hold it till it hatches just after it resets. and when you reset it says "Congraduations!" and two eggs appear. This is really a very big secret of bandai and the programmers will deny of this so reset your guy and grow a teddymon (unless you already have him...) and have two people on your side!!!
How To Get Ultimate Digimons
I'm just going to put rumors about getting Ultimate Digimons here.- To get a Metal Greymon you need to fight at least 15 battles and have a 40% or above victory percentage. This has been a common rule for getting Metal Greymons, but I've heard people say they've gotten a M. Greymon with only 22% victories.
- To get a Teddymon you can't fight your Numemon This one is False, so if anyone tells you it's true they are wrong!
- Only the Meramon, Darkmon, and Numemon can become Grand Champions. This one is False, so if anyone tells you it's true they are wrong!
- Getting Level 5, Grand Champion digimons requires much player vs player battling. And has to do with number of battles and win percentage. It's a combination of battles and victory %
- Digimons usually go grand champion between ages 8-10.
- The lowest Victory Percentage for someone who got a Teddymon that I've heard of was 31%. Someone also said they got a teddymon with 7% and 10% victory.
- You need to fulfill the requirements (15 battles 40% victory) before your digimon turns 11 if you want a Level 5 Grand Champion.
- To get a metal greymon you need to win 10 battles before your digimon turns 8 years old.
- In order to get a grand champion you need to have fought other digimons with a higher attack rating.
- To get a teddymon feed him with vitamins until he's 99lbs and train him to 40lbs? Is this right?
- In Bandai it says the Mamemon comes from harsh conditions, maybe meaning you shouldn't clean up his poop. Have the poop fill the screen, thus poisoning your digimon. Then clean it up and fight and train him a lot.
