Engine NOT Running

Turn key to "ON" position, without starting engine. The "service engine" light will come on. Pull shifter into drive. Select thumbwheel position. A/C off adds 1 number to desired function. A/C on takes away 1 number from desired function.

Example 1
To raise "cruise fuel", put the thumbwheel on position #5 with A/C off. Pull into drive, then depress accelerator to the floor smoothly and let off. This step adds 1 number to cruise fuel. It is suggested to do cruise fuel in 6 number increments or it takes all day.
Example 2

To lower "cruise fuel", same as above except this time the A/C switch needs to be on MAX. For "idle fuel" same as above with thumbwheel on position #0, and so on.

When engine is running, the programming mode is disabled. You may not have to do any programming, as the defaults may be very close.

Engine Running

The entire fuel curve can be shifted leaner or richer by raising or lowering the fuel pressure. The thumbwheel provides the capability of adjusting high load, high RPM, WOT fueling.

Situation
Need a leaner bottom end and midrange, but top end is good on thumbwheel position #4?
Solution
Lower fuel pressure 3 or 4 psi and turn thumbwheel up to position #5. (Lower fuel pressure will give a leaner bottom and midrange while a higher thumbwheel setting maintains fuel on the top end).
