Here again, Maxine captures the feeling of Grenadian daily life. The warmth of the Grenadian people has made a strong impression on the artist. In "Burial of Bernadette" she captures the funeral of Bernadette Baily, a 16 year old girl killed by a terrorist bomb during the Grenadian Revolution.
In "Birch Breeze", you can see Maxine experimenting with mixed media. This example uses both watercolor and fabric to create the 3D image. "Cow Grandma Cow" blends both fabric and sand.
