The descendants of Charlie Monroe Meacham and Rossie Belle (Rodgers) Meacham held a reunion on Saturday, July 6, 2002, at the home of Jonathan and Dina Stephens in Wilson, Arkansas, who hosted the reunion. The children of Charlie and Rossie Belle are : Maudine Vermillion (deceased), Charlesteen Crabtree, Marcus Meacham (deceased), John "Buddy" Meacham (deceased), Lawana Miles, Robert Meacham (deceased), Rhodell Bunch, Laura Hutton, Tom Meacham, Patsy Fyles, and Billy Meacham (deceased). The Stephens' home was filled with memories including pictures of all of the Meacham children and all of their children. There were also photo albums of the past reunions for everyone to look at and stroll down memory lane. The good cooks in the family filled the kitchen with all kinds of delicious foods and there were tables set up underneath the carport for visiting and eating. The youngest family member present was Robert Dean Stephens (7 months old), son of Jonathan and Dina Stephens. He is the great-grandson of the late Bill and Maudine Vermillion of Manila. The families that attended were as follows: The family of Maudine Meacham Vermillion: Rick and Mary Tom Vermillion, and daughter Brooke and friend Morgan (MoMo) Welch; Jonathan and Dina (Vermillion) and son Robert Dean Stephens; Paul and Wanda Ann (Vermillion) Porter and grandchildren Christopher and Jennifer all of Wilson, AR. The family of John "Buddy" Meacham: Drusilla Meacham Price and husband Earl Price; Darrell and Laura Ann (Meacham) Griffin and sons Derrick and John Ed; Mickey (Meacham) Ellis and daughters Jennifer and Lyndsey all of Manila, AR. The family of Lawana Meacham Miles: Joe Miles of Russellville, AR and daughter Elizabeth of Little Rock, AR; Lana Miles Lee of Las Vegas, NV. The family of Rhodell Meacham Bunch: Tony Bunch of Manila,AR. The family of Laura Meacham Hutton: Vaughn and Joanie Hutton and daughters of Marion, AR; Rand Hutton and friend Mary Wood of Jonesboro, AR; Mark and Paula Hutton and their children Josh and Morgan of Blytheville, AR. The family of Patsy Meacham (Bowie) Fyles: Ann (Bowie) Breckenridge and daughter Alexandra of Newport, AR. Cousin Mackie and Gayle Rodgers of Horseshoe Bend, AR, attended and also Avery Stephens of Osceola, brother of Jonathan Stephens was there. There were 43 family members present at the Meacham reunion 2002.
