Name: Zelgadis/Zelgadiss Greywords
Seiyuu: Midorikawa Hikaru
Identity: Grandson/Great-grandson of Aka Hoshi Rezo, master swordsman/shaman mage, chimera
Role in Slayers: villian (in Slayers vol. 1), main character, serious aspect of story
Honorary Titles: 'Bunny-chan,' Zelly, stone boy, plus things such as 'freak,' 'monster,' etc
Misc.: Zelgadis (some say Zelgadiss) Greywords is, literally, both the grandson and great-grandson of Aka Hoshi Rezo. He was born human, but unable to use magic and the sword well due to either weakness or impatience (or both). In any case, he asked Rezo to make him 'strong' and the Red Priest obeyed, turning Zelgadis into a human/golem/demon chimera in the process. Zelgadis is therefore very skilled with a sword and with Shamanistic magic, but his skin is stone. Zelgadis is quiet, calm, and cool (most of the time) and his character provides a balance for the silliness of Slayers. I guess I should also mention that Zelgadis and Amelia have a supposed "relationship," although personally I see them as merely close friends... I do not think they make a good couple ^-^*.
