Moving Objects
With an A.D.C., spirit (or your loved one who has passed over) can attempt to move objects to let you know that they are still with you . They are much better at affecting electronics, considering that spiritually we are electric beings, they have better ability to affect anything that is electric. For instance, T.V., radio's or stereo's, clocks, lights, computers, garage doors and door bells to just name a few. Now, you are probably thinking, "How will I know that they are trying to contact me, it could be just be faulty wiring?" With every A.D.C that I have ever had, it comes with a feeling, a familiar feeling, or even a creepy feeling as your loved one tries to make contact.. As you can see in the following stories, there are lots of different way that they can try to contact you, so keep your eyes and ears open. They are with us always!
Just after Michelle passed away our garage door started acting up. Well, we believe that Michelle was affecting the door to let us know that she was still with us. The very first, of several times, the door acted up during the weekend before her funeral, was when Brian and I were in the garage alone the night after she died. I asked my brother if he could go out to our truck and take out all of Michelle's things from it. I knew that we had to go into the truck the next day for the funeral arrangements in town and it would be very hard to see her coat and shoes still there. As my brother was in the truck parked in front of the garage and we were in the garage, Brian and I hugged and I told him how much I miss Michelle already. At that moment the garage door started opening. We thought that he was playing with the door opener in the truck and he thought that we were doing the same, just messing around. My brother and I never mentioned it to each other and we just assumed it was each of us "Just Playing" , but we didn't realized that it was Michelle that was playing with us!
The next day as we were driving away from the house the garage door started to go up. My brother and his wife were following us out of the driveway and they saw the door go up 4 feet, stop, then come down again. We never seen it that time. Assuming that we seen it and pushed the garage door button in the truck, they never mentioned it to us until later.
Later that day, Brian came back to the house alone to check if he had shoes and a belt for the funeral. As he walked into the garage ( the truck was parked outside) the door started to go up. He turned around and headed back towards the door opener button and just as he got there the door started to go down. So he turned around again and headed back towards the phone and just as he got to the phone, it started to go up again. So once again he goes back to the door opener and just inches before he touches the button, the door starts to come down. He says that this happened about 4 times when finally he just went to the button and held it down so the door would go the whole way down. He left the garage, went into the house and did what he needed to do and got out of there. It spooked him and he called me on the cell right away completely freaked out!!
Later that day we were talking to my brother who said that he seen the same thing happen. So Brian inspected the connections and the settings on the door and it all checked out fine. We have never had a problem before this for the 3 years it has been installed, and never since!
There were several other times that the door would open. Brian's brother from Manitoba was having car problems and they pulled the car into the garage to look at it and as he pulled up to the garage, the door opened automatically. And also they never pulled the car in completely so there was a bit of the car sticking out of the garage. Then the door started to come down on its own and stopped inches from hitting his car before anyone could reach the button on the wall to stop it. Then if that isn't enough, when they were done with the car and wanted to pull it out, the door opened again, he pulled out and it closed again ... all by itself after him. There were about 15 different people in the garage at the time and no one can figure out why it did that! But as Brian told everyone as their mouths hung open in shock. "Don't you have one of these door openers that can read your mind??" But Brian knew what was really going on! And I am sure that Michelle was sitting there just laughing her head off like she normally would in a situation like this!!
We never found that the door opened when no one was around. Neighbors or people stopping by never once said that our garage door was open. We watch for things like that. We never woke to it open or did it happen when there was no benefit for it. Only when someone could witness it and feel the presence!
As we were coming home from town, we had Jen with us. I was driving home and I pulled into the drive way and went to put my hand up to open the garage door and BEFORE I touched the button, the door opened. I pulled my hand away in shock then went to touch it again, it started going down BEFORE I touched it again. I did this about 5-6 times before I held it down and parked outside the garage.
The morning of her funeral, the door opened and closed for us as we left. We said our goodbyes to Michelle and we came home to a silent door. Never again in this year and half since Michelle has passed over has the door opened or closed by itself (or with the help of Michelle)!
This is an excellent story to show how they use objects, electrical objects, to show us they still exist. This experience has several meanings for us. First off, the garage is Brian's Domain. This is where Brian spends all his extra time. Also, Brian is the one out of the family that is the more skeptical of us, so for this to take place in his "turf" instead of something in the house makes a point even stronger towards getting Brian to feel or experience it. Next, the first real experience of the "Playing" happened to Brian. He felt and experienced it fully for the first time and told me and I recognized it as a sign. But it was mostly generated toward him. Also for spirit, they like things to have meaning or symbolism involved. The opening of a door symbolizes that she has only just passed from one door to another. That one door in her life as opened and that she exists still on the other side (of the door) So she isn't gone at all. I think that they load as much meaning into each contact as possible in order to gain the most out of it. Originally I had created this site to just be about Michelle's life. I got the idea as more of these ADC's were happening to include some of them in this site and was unsure if I should or not, scared that I would be deemed "INSANE". I pondered for days over it and then finally, out-loud I said, "Michelle, if I should do this, add those experiences to this site, please give me a sign. Just let me know what I should do." Now before I go any farther, sometime I get the answers and sometimes I don't. Sometimes it is up to me to figure them out... so next time you pray and you don't get an answer maybe it is part of your learning here on Earth to figure this one out on your own! Anyway, I forgot about asking her and went upstairs for the evening. The next day, I came down to check my email and here on my desk was the picture of Michelle and Derrick that I have stuck to my monitor corner placed in the center of the CD case of the website creation program that I used to create the first website with. It couldn't fall, it was stuck there and it was across the table. No one was down here that night so this was without a doubt, to me that I was to include these pages.
