OBITUARY
MEMPHIS COMMERCIAL APPEAL

MARGARET M. GAVIN, 82, of Memphis, 
retired Memphis City Schools teacher after 42 years, 
died Wednesday at St. Francis Hospital. 
Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 
where she was a communicant and a member of Philomena Guild, with burial in Calvary. 
Memphis Funeral Home Union Chapel has charge. 
She leaves a sister, Mrs. John O. Gavin of Memphis, and nine nieces and nephews, 
including Margaret Gavin Henze and Katherine Gavin, who cared for her, both of Memphis. 
The family requests that any memorials be sent to DeNeuville Heights School 
for Girls Endowment Fund or St. Peter Villa Chapel Fund.
