Also, Joss Whedon has been talking about some
of his plans for the fourth season of "Buffy". After surviving the ascention,
Buffy, Xander, Willow and Oz will all either be attending or hanging around
the University of California at Sunnydale. There will be no "batcave" like
the old high school library. As Whedon put it recently, "If we find out
we need an exposition room like the library, they'll find one themselves.
But right now, we're taking the security of the place they always go back
to away from them on purpose."
Casting has begun on a new regular character
for the series. The new character, named Riley Finn, meets Buffy in her
psych class at college. The character is described as being "solidly built"
and good looking. He and Buffy share a mutual attraction even though they
are very different people. Buffy knows a mystery when she sees it
and Riley is definitely a mystery. In fact, you could go so far as to say,
"if Angel were Bruce Wayne, Riley would be Clark Kent". The character is
still being developed so there could be some changes.
