Letter 1 March 2000

Dear students,

First, I would like to wish all of you a pleasant training year 2000. Hoping that this new millenium will bring you all to a higher level in your Taekwon-Do life. I will in this first newsletter bring up some details some of them are good other are to improve.

1st the good news:
I'm extremely happy to announce you that in one year we have achieved an extremely high standard technicaly as well as moraly. We have had excellent results. You will be able to see all of them while you read this page further.
I would like to welcome our new members:

Now the bad news:
I still have problems with people contacting me in case of absence, as well as seriousness in training. I remind everybody that you have to contact me when you don't come, by respect to me as well as your mates. Also discipline during training should be followed by everybody, specialy juniors towards seniors and myself. Taekwon-Do is based on courtesy, I shall ask you to follow this. Unnecessary talking during the courses is not allowed, we have only 1h30mns, we should take maximum advantage of this time. I WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS ANY LONGER. Also Saturdays courses are obligatory, please do not miss without a good reason.

- We are planning to get a school track suit and training bags. If anybody has ideas, please let me know. We will ask for offers in different sports shops, but to be able to get good prices, we need to get a quantity. Please support this. I believe that the school must create itself an image.

- The trainings will be cancelled in Annala from the 28th of February untill 12th of March for repairs. Please I would advise the bigger one to train in Hervanta during that time to prepare for the Espoo Cup.

On the 28th of February 2000, I was promoted to 5th Degree by Gen. Choi Hong Hi
