Burroughs
Home 941-332-6125 The Burroughs Home is a Georgian Revival Mansion built in 1901. Located in downtown Fort Myers next to the Edison Bridge overlooking the Caloosahatchee River, considered a prestigious area at the turn of the century. A "Living History" tour is given by guides costumed in style of the WWI era. They portray members of the Burroughs family as they were when they purchased the house in 1918. Located on scenic McGregor Boulevard offers the public a challenging par 71 round. The Course was built in 1916 by Architect Donald Ross and opened in 1917, and the Clubhouse has been rebuilt on the original site.
