I am a graduate Electronics Engineer and at present pursuing a two year, full time management program, from university of Delhi. My experience as a trainee at Hughes Escorts Communications Ltd., in the marketing department – where I was asked to ascertain the communication requirements of the public sector enterprises in the northern region - has given me a good understanding of the marketing skills required to be successful in the present business environment, and thus I would like to join an organisation in the function areas of marketing/business development where I will get a chance to enhance my professional skills further.

• Knowledge of C, FoxPro, MS-Excel, pursuing a course in Internet applications.

• I did my Summer Training program with Hughes Escorts Communications Ltd., I was required to work as an interface between the various channel partners and the marketing department for LAN/WAN solutions using VSAT technology for Wide Area Networking. For this I was required to have sound knowledge of the various communication/networking protocols, the hardware, and communication software required, so as to have a better understanding of the networking solutions being offered. After the successful completion of this 12 weeks training program, I was asked to work for their newly formed Intra/Inter Networking group for the next 6 weeks, to identify potential corporate clients for Hub-Hosted Intranets, which helped me to develop a good understanding of both INTRANET and EXTRANET solutions being offered by HUGHES.

• I completed a 8 weeks Industrial training program during Engineering, with Woolworth (I) Ltd. Nagpur, where I worked on a project named ‘ Data Acquisition System ’. for the implementation of LAN at the shop floor, which would help to monitor the various input/output combinations in the Textile Machinery in use.

• Software implementation of digital gates using Neural Network with back propagation (a C language program ). A step in the direction of stimulation of neural network to provide new directions to solving problems arising in natural tasks.

Extra Curricular Activities

• I actively participate in the various extra curricular activities organised at D’School campus, by the multidimensional student’s body ‘ International Business Forum’. During graduation, I was the director and also the secretary of Rotaract club of our college and organised Inter-Collgiate musical competition for two years in succession. I was also active in sports and member of the college cricket team.
