I'm an effervescent labrador, Madison's my name,
I'm a bit of a lass in many ways,
But loveable just the same.
Each morning when I wake, I practise being good.
But it's not easy to keep it up for long,
Unless I'm in the mood.
I think of all the things I could be doing instead
And all my good intentions get knocked on the head!
Everyday brings new adventures which cannot be ignored,
no matter what pleasures or perils involved
they've got to be explored.
I'm an angel and Devil all rolled into one,
I try hard to be nice, but being naughty is much more
fun.
And although I'm more of a handful than some,
I'll always have a special place in the arms of mum.
