Greetings and a Happy New Year to One and All!
I am creating this blog as a Wells Family weekly news page that I would imagine to be mostly of interest only to members of the Wells family. It's purpose is to provide a central repository for news and information for members of the family spread far and apart. Members of the Wells family can post to this blog by sending an email to michael_wells_gr@blog.tripod.com along with a Pw:password line with the password (that can be obtained on request from michael_wells_gr@yahoo.com) before the main body of the text. (PS. I haven't got this to work yet.)
As this year closes a difficult issue parents sometimes must face is foremost on our minds. We are sad to report on this first blog entry that our eldest daughter chipped and impacted (e.g. knocked) one of her new front teeth up into her upper jaw after tripping over last Wednesday. This is a difficult case to deal with. The poor prognosis is that it might push back out again in a couple of months and may or may not be dead. If it doesn't push out of it's own accord, braces may tease it out little by little. On the long term it may mean a crown. Permanent solutions usually have to wait until a person is eighteen and stops growing. We hope and pray for the best possible result.
Michael
