after her contributions were made. For her work on Grace Under Fire,
she received two Golden Globe nominations, alas never winning. She won
the 1995 Viewers for Quality TV Award for Best Actress in a Quality
Comedy Series. She continues to guest-star on TV sitcoms.

by Viewers for Quality Television. Grace Under Fire airs internationally
and is the first American sitcom to air in Russia. Grace Under Fire
takes place in Victory, Missouri, and centers around Grace Kelly, a
Southern woman whose life experiences have given her a certain edge.
Grace is a smart-talking, no-nonsense, straight-shooting survivor of
a bad marriage. Several years have passed since her troubled marriage
ended in divorce after eight years of anything but domestic bliss. Eager
to improve her lot while raising Quentin, age 14, Libby, age 9, and
Patrick, age 4, Grace remains the sole support of her family. During
this new season, Grace buys and fixes up an old house and is once again
under fire as she faces problems on the job as well as in her personal
life. Through it all, she remains sober, determined to secure the best
possible life for herself and her children. It takes all of Grace's
indomitable will to keep her spirits high while maintaining her status
as a single parent. With her quick wit, the support of her buddy, Russell,
her best friends Nadine and Wade, and her co-workers at the mechanic
shop, Grace gets over the day-to-day rough spots in a hilarious manner.
